Warm Springs Hike

A group of us hiked down to Warm Springs and the Colorado River just on the other side of Hoover Dam in AZ. It was a fun hike about 6 miles round trip. We left at about 4:00pm and walked down to the river. I didn't jump off the cliff at the top. I am kind of afraid of the hieghts but I did jump into the freezing cold water. It was very nice. Then we walked back but we took a different trail. We had to climb this scary ladder that looked like it was going to break then walk through this extremely hot water that was suppose to be warm, (that was the warm springs). Afterward we had to climbed this rock that was about 12 feet tall, actally the guys kind of pushed me up while another guy at the top pulled. I hated that part but I made it up and then we got lost and I ran into a bush and broke out in some crazy rash. (Which is now gone.)What a fun hike!

California again

For Danielle's birthday 10 of us piled into a van from Russ' parents and headed to the beach. Our first stop was Ruby's Diner in Balboa. We sat on top of the resturant out on the dock over looking the ocean. I thought it was beautiful but some people wanted to be in Huntington instead. oh well! The boys wanted to do an ugly face contest. I will tell you that Russ won but if you don't know who he is well then just guess. That night we got one hotel room. Yes that's right one for all 10 of us. I slept under the sink, yes random I know but it worked. The next morning we went to breakfast and had this amazing food and our waitor was slow but funny. "Whatever you like we make for you sweetheart." Then we went to Huntington and just hung out all day. I even tried the whole boogie boarding thing for the first time. It was a fun day to just hang out. We drove back that night. It was pretty much a 30 hour trip.

So. Cal on 4th of July

My parents met me in So Cali for 4th of July. On July 4th we had a classic Valentine BBQ where we got to eat my all time favorite.... RIBS! So yummy. Arthur came over in his sweet ride and we got to go cruise down the streets in his car. That was fun because people stop and stare when you drive by in a car like that. One guy even slowed down and said "Sweet ride, man." Then we tried to light fireworks in Grandma's backyard but we kept getting stopped by the street cops so then we decided to jump in Aunt Sue's van (10 of us) and drive over to Disneyland to catch the fireworks. We didn't make it in time but we did stop and pose for a pictures while we waited for nothing. The next day my parents and I did a half day pass to Knotts Berry Farm. The first ride my dad and I went on we got soaked. We just walked around and went on some rides.

Random moments

So here are two very random pictures but both are worth mentioning. So the first photo is of two of my really good friends from back home of Woodland. These two girls I have known since fourth grade. We have had some good times. So who would have thought after all these years would all meet back together in Vegas of all places. Stacie is currently living in AZ, Natalie is in UT and I am in NV.
Ok the next picture is a funny night. So every Thursday night during the summer Lake Las Vegas does a movie night by the lake under the stars (there are stars in the sky in Vegas, even though you can't see them). So one night we drive out there and Heather had a rental car and wanted to drive well after the movie was over she dropped the keys in the trunk. So we had to wait 2 hours for Heather's sister to come and then the guy from AAA to come. It was quite the eventful night.
