My trip to Utah

This weekend I went to Utah with my cousins Danielle, Rachel, and Kelli. We drove to Utah friday night and stay with my Grandma and Grandpa. On Saturday morning we got up and ate breakfast at CHOPS! Pretty much the best place to eat breakfast. Then we drove to Woodland Hills to go to the Gale Edwards Family Reunion. We took tons of pictures up there because the mountains were so beautiful. Then it began to rain on us so we decided to go shopping. Afterward we went to Aunt Shirley's house and hung outthere for a little while. Then we ate dinner at a resturant called Crate and Barrel. On Sunday after church Danielle taught Kyle how to drive a stick shift car. Then we went to David and Wendy's house and from there we head back to Vegas.

Off roading and a beautiful view

On Saturday there were six of us that went off roading up this huge mountain. It was crazy because I had never been off roading before, so it was a little scary but looking back on it now, I had fun and the view was totally worth it. Here we are standing on top of a mountain over looking the entire city. It was beautiful. We took some funny pictures. Everyone knows I love goofy photos! The group picture of us with the black outline was a mistake but acutally it turned out to be a pretty cool picture. It was Sam's first time off roading so I had to get out and spot a few times. I am a pro now! J/K!

Another Crazy weekend

So this weekend we went to the Paris Hotel and got Gelato ice cream. Then we walk down to the fountians and watched the water show. Which is probably my most favorite thing to do on the strip. It was fun. By the way this was my first time going down to the strip since I have lived here. People who live in Vegas don't go to the strip very often. So I guess it's normal that I have lived here for a month and have only been once so far.

More Labor Day weekend pictures!

Here we are in Huntington beach enjoying the waves and the sun. I was very burnt this weekend. In fact I had a sunburn on top of a sunburn the sad thing is that I put tons of sunscreen. It just never stayed on. I love playing in the water too much. We ate dinner at Ruby's. It was also Russ's birthday and when they sang to him I think he got a little embarrassed.

Extreme Sliding/ Labor day weekend

To begin this weekend we did extreme sliding at Lake Mead. Basically it was a big slide that a bunch of the guys created the night before and finished the next morning. I was recruited to help with the digging. We spent hours there watching crazy jumps and flips. By the way I did go down the slide and it was a blast. The boys got really extreme when they began jumping over the boat being pulled down by a jet ski. CRAZY! Then after we got home and showered we drove to Southern California to go to the beach. My parents also drove down so I was able to meet up with them too. I was glad to see my family.
So we met this crazy homeless guy in California. We found him on the street and we decided to let him stay with us.......................What were we thinking?!!!! We think it's time for this cool dude to get a haircut, what do you think? Okay for reals this is Mark Pruter and yes that is MY hair!

So let's back track a little bit. I hope you guys didn't give up on my page because now it should be in full swing. I have the internet and I have my camera back! HOOORRAAAYYY!!!! So let's back up to the weekend of me moving out. Kenny wrote a little poem that tells the story of our crazy weekend.
Reno first, then lake tahoe
I think thats where I'm at
Lilys taking me around
I'm just the bff in back
First the lake, then the nugget
Man were we impressed
Then to skate and then to pack it
We didn't even rest
The uhauls packed, the stuffs inside
We woke up so darn early
Em is up, now kenny drive
And danielles hair was curly
We'll start off slow, And speed up fast
At least I think we'll try
Why's the truck going so slow
We haven't passed a fly!
We better stop before it breaks
Our truck is feeling ill
It doesnt have what it will take
to get us up this hill
You won't believe what happened next
We really had to do it
They made switch out our uhaul
And all the stuff inside it!
From then on the trip was smooth
Except for kennys neck
Our truck would now go fast enough
So that we wudnt wreck
We made good time to vegas lights
Our cousin/friend's new home
We made it safe and sound that night
