Christmas in California

Here are some pictures from Christmas in California. I took a whole week off to spend time in California with family and friends. I spent the first couple of days with my parents, brothers, sister in law, niece and nephews. On Christmas Eve, Matt and I had a fun adventure of driving to Vacaville and back super quick to get one present. It was pretty funny. On Christmas morning it was a little different because we didn't open presents until 11:00am or something. (Which is way late to be opening presents.) Then after we opened presents we went to Ferns park which had just re-opened the saturday before. (There was a fire in July and the community has helped re-build it) So I felt like a kid again going down the slide, playing on the swings, and chasing Michele, Joseph, and Nathan around. Matt also got stuck in the slide, but not for very long. Then next day my parents went down to southern California so I spent the next few days with friends and visiting the Nugget Market stores. I drove to different stores to visit people and had a blast. Traci Vasquez was visiting that week too so I even got to see her for a little bit. On friday I went to the office (well I went to the office everyday) but on friday I had lunch with the IT dept. It was fun just like old times, we sat in the conference room and chatted about everything. On Friday evening I went to El Dorado Hills to go to Brett and Alex's wedding reception. Then I flew back home to Vegas.

My Christmas in Vegas

So the Sunday before Christmas, we had a little roommate Christmas morning. Danielle and I made pancakes for breakfast and listened to Christmas music. Then the we opened Christmas presents. We love the toaster in this place. One of our favorite things. We had a really good time, sorry there are only a few pictures but it was morning and we didn't look very pretty. Please don't look at our pictures up close.

STACIE SKINNER

So I failed to mention a very important part of my AZ trip. I got to meet up with my very good friend Stacie Marie Skinner. She met us for dinner and then went to the temple with us and basically hung out the whole night. I even went and spent the night at her house. I had a great time with Stacie. My favorite part of the weekend was hanging out with Stacie. This blog is just for Stacie Skinner! I love ya!
